OMA S.r.I.
is a leading manufacturer of braiding machines,
bobbin winders, and complementary equipment for
the braiding industry since its foundation in
1952.
A high level of specialization, intense
technological research and exstensive technical
experience make it possible for OMA to
manufacture equipment with a wide range of
productive capacity to satisfy an equally wide
range of requirement.
Currently, OMA S.r.l. has two operating units:
One is in charge of manufacturing the majority of
the mechanical parts for OMA machines.
All mechanical parts are created with the
assistance of sophisticated,
numerically-controlled machine tools, resulting
in a consistant level of high quality with each
different structure.
Second unit is properly the Company headquarters
built in 1991, where the main assembling division
and the four departments ( Financial, Marketing,
Production and Research ) are located.
These four Departments have changed OMA from a
small operation into one of the fastest growing
and most technologically advanced braiding
equipment producers.
At present OMA can offer one of the most complete
range of braiding machines for the reinforcing of
rubber hoses, flexible tubes, and making of
cables and ropes.
In 1996 OMA incorporated OMA U.S.A. which was
established to better serve the US and Canadian
customer's sales and spare parts needs. Since
then OMA U.S.A. has continuosly expanded its
customer base, created an extremelyefficient
organisation that provides technical support by
phone and on site, greatly increased the amount
of spare parts available to North american
customers, and provided machinery commissioning
and installation, as well as training sessions.
In 2000, following in the succes of OMA U.S.A.,
another subsidiary of the Italian mother Company
was started in Great Britain. OMA U.K. is
responsible for the sales, spare parts
distribution and customer assistance for entire
northern European area.
Engineering expertise and qualified technical
personnel are also what make OMA U.K. a welcome
asset to the Company.
