Semiautomatic Winding Machines type BS 1

The semiautomatic wire winding machines of the series BTRM have been upgraded with the new model BS1, in order to meet the most diverse production needs.

This new generation of wire winding machine, type BS1, includes the most advanced technological improvements in wire winding equipment; resulting in outstanding winding quality at high speeds and reliability over long periods of operation.

The unique concept of the BS1 winder includes:

• electronic control type SIAX 300 for monitoring of operations and troubleshooting
• motorized pulling capstan for uniform wire pullin
• servo driven bobbin traversing.

These, along with the revolutionary Pay-off system, set up with a motor and inverter for each supply spool, eliminate the most common problems in winding operation.

Advantages of combination of BS 1 winder with CDE 250 pay-off creel:

Reduced winding time due to high and constant linear speed up to 600m/minute

Excellent catenary, improved quality of braids (less crossed wires)

Simple, fast and repeatable wire tension adjustment (limited set-up time)

Consistent performances over long periods of operation, due to simple gravity tensioning system (no periodical adjustment required).

Minimum bobbin stretch because of lower winding tension.

Reduced maintenance with the elimination of traditional mechanical brakes.

BS 1 is compliant with the EC rules N° 89/392 for safety and noise and are marketed with an EC plate.
