In the winding bobbins sector, OMA's major improvement is represented by the innovative MOTORISED pay-off system. Thanks to its particular concept the system allow an easy set-up to different tension and most important grants a high reliability and control of the unwinding tension.In addition a different weigh between the pay-off bobbins due to an uneven quantity of wire wounded on the bobbins will not influence at all the pay-off tension.

In fact the bobbins are motorised so none of the following events can affect the pay-off performances:

• different quantity of wire on the pay-off bobbins
• presence of lubricant or oil
• friction force difference between the rotating components of the pay-off units
  (shaft holding bearings, brakes etc.)

• Motorised pay-off unit controlled by vertical accumulator
• Bobbin flange dia 250 mm - ins. width 160mm – outside width 186mm
  BP 60 bobbin
• Max. bobbin weight 30 kg.
• Number of pay-off stations: to be agreed.
• Each station is equipped with a three-phase motor, controlled by frequency converter actuated by vertical accumulator.
• Vertical accumulator composed by 3 special ball bearing with V shape
• Unwinding tension adjustable from 0,5 to 2 kg. by multiple weight to add or remove from the
• dancer unit. We choose for a gravity force principle instead than pneumatic or spring system because it is the only one which grants same performance for long time without incurring in wearing or uneven tension between the stations due to loose of performances or force frictions.
• Individual wire breaks detectors.
• Electrical power 400V - 50Hz - 3 phases - or other to agree.
• Noise level 75 dBa.

• The pay off unit it is included in a protection cage in respect of European rules 89/392
