High Productivity wires spiral winder suitable for rubber hose and plastic tube reinforcing, manufacturing of electrical cable and other special applications.

Thanks to a technological advanced design of the rotor and carriers tension control system, the machine can run a wide range of steel wires, depending from size and number.

Main frame is built up with a welded steel structure thermically stabilised on which are placed bearings, rotors and transmission parts.

The rotor is an aerodynamic welded structure, that allows for an easy positioning of the carriers bobbin and high rotation speeds in a range of  110 RPM.

The spiral winder SPRW is supplied with the Electronic axis control type SIAX 51 for immediate pitch adjustment                       and machine parameters setting.

• Standard Hose with or without Mandrel
• Low, Medium and High Pressure Rubber, Thermoplastic Hoses.

Technical features:

• Single or Multiple deck configuration
• Concentric rotors turning in opposite directions at variable speed.
• Rotors assembled on the same structural frame by means of high speed self lubricated bearings.
• The rotors basic structure is a single piece steel frame in which the carriers arrangement follows a circular pattern.
• Each rotor is controlled by an independent threephase asynchronous A.C. motor. The motor has a forced ventilation system and is supplied complete of encoder for vectorial’s velocity verification.
• Each rotor is equipped with a pneumatic emergency brake to stop the machine in case of emergency stop.
• For emergency stop purposes only, the line stops immediately.
• Rotors speed adjustable by potentiometer positioned onto SIAX panel.
• The rotors and the extraction unit (Haul-Off) are electronically synchronised by electronic axis control type SIAX .It guarantees a complete and accurate synchronization of the line speed, allowing a total control line durning ramping time to max linear speed.
• The rotors are provided with a selector to disengage the brake and manually jog forward and reward.
• Each axis can be engaged or disengaged as well as the rotation of each group of rotors can be changed according to specs.
• Automatic detection of wire/s break or bobbin exhaustion.
• Carriers bobbin capacity about 10 kgs of wire.
• Adjustable wire tension from 2,5 to 12 kgs. - Tension adjustments are possible only with the unit stopped.
• Thanks to the particular carrier and bobbins design the carrier allows to perfectly balance the unwinding wire load using a left and right wire threading especially useful in case of low tension application. It also allows to have an off line carrier threading and preparation.
