Hand made mandrel hose lines - BM 40 -

OMA has lately upgraded its Hand Made Hose Line to a state of the art machine.

The Line is composed by a series of major elements, of which the most relevant are:

• The trolley moving on rail tracks, in which are located the operator control panel, the taping heads for rubber and/or plies as well as the wire and trace rope applicators.
• The drives for rotation and tensioning of the pole.
• The supporting and lubricating saddles.
  

All of these elements are integrated by PLC and controlled by digital hardware.

The sequence of operations can be selected from the PC or manually activated by the operator.

OMA can custom made each unit accordingly to customers’ specifications.

One of OMA’s major specializations is the design, engineering and manufacturing of high technology,state of the art custom made reinforcing lines for the production of rigid mandrel hose.

OMA has developed the capability of integrating some of its more technologically advanced machinery into electronically controlled lines.

The integration of units like the 240 Horizontal Braider and the 3KT Textile Spiraling Machine with nylon and rubber taping machines, single wire spiraling machines and haul offs, has allowed OMA to represent a reference point for the whole hose industry.
